My father always believed that there was very little we could not build or fix ourselves.  We worked on everything - carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry and even small engines as well as car engines. 

While attending college, I worked for a general contractor.  I was lucky enough to see more of each trade - carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, drywall, etc. 

After graduating college and moving on to my chosen profession, I still did the fix-it work on the side.  Neighbors and relatives were soon calling me to help fix, repair or install something in their homes.  Even after 21 years I am still performing "handyman" work for those same neighbors, friends and relatives.  And the list keeps growing.

I always been in woodworking since my early childhood.  I have restored furniture.  I have built birdhouses and walking sticks.  My other work also includes wood carvings and turnings.
